MISIA to sing "Orphans no Namida" as part of the 66 Kohaku Uta Gassen!

NHK's 66th Kohaku Uta Gassen, airing on NHK-G and NHK Radio 1 this New Year's Eve, will include MISIA as part of a special red team commemorating the 70th postwar broadcast.

MISIA, who appeared in the NHK's "Inochi no Uta" special in August marking the anniversary of the war's end, speaking with Nagasaki schoolchildren about the war and the bombings in its final days, and recounting her own memories of her grandfather's war stories.
As part of the commemoration, MISIA will also perform the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans theme live from her hometown of Nagasaki.

This will be MISIA's second Kohaku appearance; the first was live from Namibia in 2012. Don't miss it!
