The Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Blu-ray promo visual and volume 1 cover are unveiled!

Cover and Digipak case illustrations for the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans vol. 1 special edition to be released on December 24th have been unveiled. The cover, illustrated by character designer Michinori Chiba and chief mechanical animation Hiroshi Arisawa, shows the main character Mikazuki Augus and the Gundam Barbatos; the Digipak, illustrated by Arisawa, shows the Barbatos.
A promotional visual has also been created by Chiba and Arisawa. The visual shows the Gundam Barbatos, as well as Mikazuki Augus, Orga Itsuka, and other cast members.

The disc release will feature the "Road to Orphans" making-of footage shown at the premiere screening on October 2nd, and a guest list for the audio commentary has been announced.
Additional extras include a DLC code for the PlayStation® Vita title Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force and a comic by character concept creator Yu Ito.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will be released across nine Blu-ray and DVD volumes, beginning with episode 1 on December 24th.
The first Blu-ray is available for ¥3,800 (tax not included), while the DVD is priced at ¥2,800. Furthers Blu-rays will be priced at ¥7,800 (tax not included), with DVDs ¥5,800. The second Blu-ray volume, slated for release on January 29th, 2016, will include a box illustrated by mechanical designer Naohiro Takao.
