“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-” Theatrical Version Starts Screening in North America on February 28th!

Studio khara and Sunrise have collaborated for the first time to bring to create the latest Gundam series, and Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-” Theatrical Version consisting of reconstructed episodes preceding the airing of the TV anime series is currently being shown in theaters across Japan.

It has been announced that the theatrical advance version of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-” Theatrical Version will also be screened in North America!
It will be distributed by GKIDS, which handles unique animation titles from across the world, and screenings are scheduled to begin from February 28, 2025.
It will also be shown in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.

GKIDS is a producer and distributor that handles the distribution of Studio Ghibli films in North America, as well as other iconic Japanese animated titles such as Mirai (directed by Mamoru Hosoda), Weathering with You (directed by Makoto Shinkai), and Inu-Oh (directed by Masaaki Yuasa).
GKIDS also seeks out titles that are imbued with the passion of artists from all over the world and shares the artistic value of animation across North America by distributing titles such as such as Wolfwalkers (directed by Tomm Moore) and Ernest & Celestine (directed by Benjamin Renner), which have since received high praise from both audiences and critics.
