　 Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY's HD Remaster project has arrived. This new, high-quality rebirth of the show is matched by the release of the RG Destiny Gundam, and by two months of our own features covering the new Gundam SEED model boom it brought.
　In part 1, we cover the newest Real Grade kit: the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam. Miyuki Uehara pushes the kit to its limits in her review, and there are beginner's tips on paintless building and realistic decal application. Starblazers 2199 building lecture

　 Starblazers 2199, successor to the legendary anime, first premiered last April. Now, beginning this April, it's being broadcast nationwide on MBS and TBS affiliates. We mark its broadcast with a look at 2199 and its models.
　The hit popularity of 2199 means a near-endless series of Bandai models. The 1/1000 Yamato was followed by U.N.C.F. fleet sets 1 and 2, Gamelon fleet set 1, and then a 1/72 series of carrier-based aircraft including the Cosmo Zero α1 and α2, all hit releases. And Starblazers modeling is set to get even more fun with the upcoming 1/100 Polmeria-class space assault carrier and the 1/72 Cosmo Falcon!
　Our feature is centered around builds of Bandai's 2199 models. Two builds of the new 1/72 Cosmo Zero perched on Yubaba's work-in-progress 1/72 Yamato afterdeck lead off the feature, which also includes Akiharu Fukusi's 1/1000 Starblazers 2199 building lecture, a complete naval review of the U.N.C.F.
