Tamashii Festival 2011: Summer of Chogokin, Summer of Robots details announced!

The official site for Tamashii Festival 2011: Summer of Chogokin, Summer of Robots has been updated, listing details including exhibits and attendee gifts for the event being held July 16th and 17th at Belle Salle in Akihabara.

This year marks the second anniversary of Bandai’s collectors’ division’s “not just an exhibition of new goods, but a summer festival everyone can enjoy.”

This year more than 200 summer and autumn releases will be on display, including the first-anniversary release of the Super Robot Chogokin line and a special exhibit marking all 100 Robot Damashii items. New goods from other robot-centric brands will also be on display, with a “Special Touch and Try” corner where visitors can get their hands on the goods.

To mark the event, special Robot Damashii and S.H.Figuarts variants will be on sale, as well as hand towels printed with popular characters. All attendees will also receive a Sunrise Crusade “Crusade Collabo-code” free of charge.
