The new global TCG "Gundam Card Game" is set for release in 2025! Ahead of the official release, the "Edition Beta" will be available starting December 2024！

During the “BANDAI CARD GAMES Next Plan Presentation 2024.10” the Bandai Card Business Dept. announced a new trading card game called “GUNDAM Card Game” with a PV and opening an official website for it. This game will be released not only in Japan but worldwide so will be available in 3 languages: Japanese, English, and Chinese. Also, it will be released in all three languages simultaneously under the BANDAI CARD GAMES brand.
In addition, in advance of the product’s release later in 2025 it was announced that there will be a product called “GUNDAM Card Game Edition Beta” released in Dec. 2024.

- What is “GUNDAM Card Game”? -
The “GUNDAM Card Game” is a card game in which players use Mobile Suits and Pilots from the “Mobile Suit Gundam” Series in card battles.
Mobile Suits are seen on “Unit Cards”, the operators of these are seen on “Pilot Cards” while other things from the series such as battle ships and various characters are seen on “Base Cards” and “Command Cards”. A deck of 50 cards is made up of these four card types and used to battle another player. Pilots can be attached to Units to increase their power, and designated pairings, called “Linked Unit” can also be made and help you aim for victory.
Of course there are rules prepared for the standard 1 vs 1 play, but there will also be rules for other types of play like a “Team Battle” (2 vs 2) and “Battle Royale” (3 or more players, no teams).

■How to purchase “GUNDAM Card Game Edition Beta”
○ Participate in an “Edition Beta” Trial Event
Trial events at which you can purchase “Gundam Card Game Edition Beta” and use it to learn the game will be held starting from Dec. 2024. Participants will open the product at the event and use it to play and learn the game in a trial session. There will be an “Early Trial Event” and BANDAI Card Games Fest 24-25 being held in Utrecht, and in Orlando. There will also be “TCG+ Store Trial Event” held in various local game stores.
