iPhone 'Gundam Area Wars' updates! Try out the new 'Stop the Rampaing Big Zam!' event!

Gundam Area Wars, an iPhone app from Namco Bandai Games, has been updated with the 'Stop the Rampaging Big Zam' event.

Gundam Area Wars in a strategy game in which players carry out missions to shoot down enemy mobile suits and capture territory. Using the camera and gyro for the game's 'AR Combat System', mobile suits appear life-sized in the real world.

This massive new event adds the Big Zam, a foe far fiercer than the normal opposition and unassailable by any one player.

After encountering a random Big Zam in a normal mission, the player can assign 10 of their own units, banded together with friends for a force of up to 100, to attacking the Big Zam! Help out your friends and other players, and build a massive force!

Take down a Big Zam durig the event, and you'll be rewarded with a rare ticket, plus details of your victory accessible for review and the Big Zam available for view in the game's AR function.

The event lasts until 1:00 PM on the 27th!
