■ Gunpla Builders World Cup 2013

The Gunpla Builders World Cup international championship returns for a third year!

The champions of 13 countries and regions, including Japan, will gather this December at Gundam Front Tokyo to decide a world champion.

Beginning this year, the entry method for the Japanese preliminaries has changed. In addition to entering online via Bandai Hobby Site, entries will also be accepted nationwide at retailers who participate in the Bandai Hobby Proshop program.

Full details of the Japanese preliminaries will be announced at Shizuoka Hobby Show, and custom builds showing off the Builders Parts option parts will be on display.

■ Gundam Breaker

The show also features a Gundam Breaker/Gunpla booth.

Gundam Breaker, a battle action game, is made unique among Gundam titles by its Gunpla motif. By attacking enemy mobile suits, you can break off their heads and arms and enjoy part-by-part battles possibly only with Gunpla!

While some stages are familiar Gundam locales, your model-scale battles will also spread out to include Gunpla workshops, casino tables, and more.

Visit the booth and see Gundam Breaker's battles rebuilt as dioramas, plus kits showing off some of the custom designs possible in-game!
